Beauty Day 64

Find one beautiful thing every day and take a photo of it.

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

Beauty Day 64 How Faith Grows

Drought–a prolonged period of scanty rainfall

doubt–a prolonged period of unbelief

Said Thomas…

unless

I place my finger

into

the mark of the nails

I will never believe

never

such a strong word

of heart and mind and will

set against

what he

so ardently desires

that if denied

the wound

would kill him

and that’s the sin in doubt

Thomas set his doubt

against his pain

so selfishly

that’s like me and the rain

I was born in the rain

drank the rain

soaked it up even in my sleep

here…this drought in California al sur

which sun worshippers love so much

is for me a hollow tomb

a sound going out

and out

and out

with no echo of return

…unless I place my hand into his side…

why is it so hard

to receive the blessing of your love?

“Thomas…!”

Place your finger here and believe
